2011 Toyota Estima 2.4L Petrol · BC11 YGO

The 2011 Toyota Estima presents a notably clean MOT record, with the most recent test conducted on 18 February 2026 at 94,938 miles passing with zero defects. This outcome, combined with four consecutive flawless annual tests stretching back to February 2022, indicates a stable and well-maintained vehicle. No advisories or failures have surfaced across the entire recorded history, suggesting consistent mechanical care and no emerging deterioration trends. The mileage accumulation pattern is steady and unremarkable for a fifteen-year-old vehicle. Between February 2022 at 72,600 miles and February 2026 at 94,938 miles, the vehicle covered approximately 22,338 miles over four years, averaging around 5,585 miles annually. This sits slightly below the typical annual figure of 6,329 miles implied by the vehicle's age, pointing to moderate rather than heavy use. There are no suspicious gaps or sudden jumps in recorded distance between successive annual tests, and each MOT entry aligns with a consistent yearly cycle, reinforcing confidence in the odometer's integrity. Despite the clean paperwork, a buyer should still conduct a thorough physical inspection. The Estima is a large MPV prone to suspension wear given its weight and typical family use, so checking front and rear suspension bushes, coil springs, and shock absorbers for deterioration is advisable even without flagged defects. Brake discs, pads, and calipers deserve close scrutiny, as binding or uneven wear can develop between annual tests without triggering a failure. Underbody and sill corrosion should be examined carefully, particularly around load-bearing mounting points and floor panels, since Japanese imports sometimes exhibit hidden rust in salt-exposed UK conditions. Tyre condition and exhaust emissions warrant attention at the next service interval, as neither has been flagged but both degrade with age and mileage. Overall, the record reflects diligent ownership, yet a pre-purchase inspection by a qualified mechanic remains the most reliable way to verify that the mechanical reality matches the paper trail.
