2012 Skoda Yeti 1.6L Diesel · BD12 AEW

The vehicle presents a consistent and stable maintenance profile with no recorded failures or advisories across the last five years of testing. The most recent MOT on 27 January 2026 at 100,519 miles shows a clean pass with no defects flagged. This continuity suggests the vehicle has been kept in a consistent state of roadworthiness without recurring issues in braking, steering, or structural integrity. The mileage accumulation appears steady and aligns with typical usage for a 14-year-old vehicle. Between January 2022 and January 2026, the car covered 17,306 miles, averaging approximately 4,326 miles per year. This is notably lower than the 7,180 miles per year calculated against the total age, indicating the vehicle has seen relatively light use over its lifespan. The incremental increases in mileage between each annual test show a predictable and non-aggressive driving pattern. While the MOT history is exceptionally clean, the low annual mileage can sometimes lead to neglected maintenance on components that rely on regular movement. A buyer should physically inspect the vehicle for signs of corrosion on the underbody and suspension components, as static vehicles often suffer from seized bolts or surface rust. It is also prudent to check the condition of the brake discs for pitting and ensure the tyres have not developed flat spots or sidewall cracking from periods of standing. Given the lack of previous advisories, there are no specific mechanical trends to warn of, such as recurring suspension bush wear or exhaust emissions issues. However, with the odometer now exceeding 100,000 miles, a thorough inspection of the timing belt and water pump history is advised, as these are critical service items that often require replacement around this mileage threshold regardless of a clean MOT record.
