2021 Nissan Leaf Electric · BK21 HYN

The vehicle presents a high level of roadworthiness with a perfectly stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test conducted on 13 November 2025 at 10,372 miles resulted in no defects or advisories. This consistency across three consecutive tests indicates that the vehicle has remained in good mechanical condition without developing any significant structural or operational failures during the recorded inspection periods. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a five-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 2,074 miles per year. Between the March 2024 test at 7,512 miles and the November 2024 test at 8,618 miles, the car covered only 1,106 miles, while another 1,754 miles were logged in the year leading up to November 2025. Such low usage typically results in minimal wear on drivetrain and suspension components, though it occasionally raises concerns associated with the vehicle sitting stationary for extended periods. Since the MOT history shows no recurring faults or structural corrosion, a physical inspection should focus on issues common to low-mileage electric vehicles. Brake discs may develop surface rust or pitting if the car is not used frequently to clear the pads, and rubber components like suspension bushes or tyres may show signs of cracking despite low tread depth. The buyer should also check for flat spots on the tyres, as low mileage does not prevent age-related degradation of the compound over five years.
