2010 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2L Diesel · BT60 EYB

The vehicle currently presents a positive roadworthiness status, reflecting a stable maintenance trend. The most recent inspection on 25 March 2026 at 113,136 miles passed with no defects recorded, indicating that any previous issues identified during testing have been rectified. This follows a clean pass in April 2025, suggesting that the current owner is proactive in maintaining the car to a standard that meets annual legal safety requirements. The mileage pattern is consistent with a low-use vehicle of sixteen years, averaging approximately 7,000 miles per year. Data shows a period of low activity between January 2023 and December 2023, where the car covered only 656 miles in eleven months. However, the usage increased significantly in the following year, with 15,746 miles clocked between April 2025 and March 2026. This shift in usage often leads to accelerated wear on consumable components such as tyres, brake pads, and bushings compared to a vehicle with consistently low annual mileage. While the recent records are clean, a buyer must perform a physical inspection of the structural integrity, given the vehicle's age. At 113,136 miles, the Vauxhall Corsa is prone to corrosion on the sills, rear arches, and suspension mounting points. The MOT failure on 23 April 2025 at 103,756 miles, just day before a pass, suggests a specific fault required immediate attention. A buyer should inspect the rubber suspension bushes for cracking and check for signs of binding brake calipers to ensure that the recent increase in mileage has not caused premature degradation of the braking system or suspension geometry.
