2017 SEAT Leon 1.4L Petrol · BW17 ABZ

The vehicle’s most recent MOT on 2025-04-14 at 91,820 miles recorded a pass with no defects, but this test is over 15 months overdue as of 2026-07-22. Previous tests from 2024-04-15 (75,559 miles), 2023-04-11 (59,138 miles), and 2022-04-13 (43,100 miles) also showed passes with no defects, indicating a stable maintenance trend. However, the absence of a valid MOT since 2025-04-14 raises concerns about its current roadworthiness, as critical components like brakes, suspension, and emissions may have deteriorated without recent inspection. The vehicle’s mileage of 91,820 miles at 9 years old aligns with an average annual usage of ~10,202 miles, suggesting consistent, moderate driving. The MOT records show annual testing with incremental mileage increases, reflecting a predictable usage pattern. No gaps in testing exceed 12 months, and no recurring issues were flagged in the history. The data lacks anomalies, but the lack of a 2026 test means the car’s condition beyond April 2025 remains unverified. A buyer should prioritise inspecting the braking system, including disc wear and caliper function, as these components often degrade with age. Suspension bushes and coil springs should be checked for wear, given the vehicle’s 9-year lifespan. The exhaust system and emissions controls, critical for compliance, require scrutiny due to the overdue MOT. Structural rust is not indicated in the records, but a thorough underbody inspection is advised to confirm integrity, particularly around the chassis and wheel arches.
