2015 Ford Transit 2.2L Diesel · CU15 PYZ

The 2015 Ford Transit presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 20 September 2024 at 125,329 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, and the four preceding annual tests also passed clean. No advisories or mechanical faults appear anywhere in the supplied record, so the available evidence shows no worsening or recurring defect pattern. Recorded mileage sits at 125,329 against an 11-year service life, averaging roughly 11,394 miles per year which is typical for a Transit of this age. The tests show steady accumulation: 91,044 miles in August 2021, 108,177 in August 2022, 122,236 in August 2023, and 125,329 in September 2024. The 2021 record shows a fail and pass within four days at identical mileage of 91,044, suggesting a minor rectification rather than a serious fault since the failure listed no defects. No long standing periods or abrupt mileage jumps are evident. A clean MOT history with zero advisories across five years implies the previous keeper kept basic upkeep current, though it does not confirm the depth of mechanical care. Buyers should still commission an independent inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs and calipers, and underbody structural integrity given the vehicle's age and light commercial duty cycle. Corrosion on chassis members and sills remains a known risk on Transits of this era even where testers logged no advisory. Verify the condition of exhaust emissions components and check for any undocumented wear on consumables such as tyres and wiper blades before purchase.
