2017 Toyota Aygo 1.0L Petrol · CV67 CSY

A consistent track record of clean MOT results characterizes this vehicle, with the most recent test on 19 November 2025 showing no recorded defects. This pattern of passing without failures or advisories has been maintained for the last four consecutive testing cycles, following a single advisory regarding tyre wear in September 2021. The absence of recorded issues across the most recent years suggests a stable history of roadworthiness regarding the components inspected under the MOT framework. The vehicle has covered 65,168 miles over its nine-year lifespan, representing an average annual accumulation of approximately 7,241 miles. This usage profile is typical for a small city car and indicates a consistent level of operation rather than extreme high-mileage wear or the potential mechanical stagnation associated with very low-mileage vehicles. From a mechanical perspective, this steady mileage suggests that components such as the drivetrain, suspension, and braking systems have been subjected to regular, predictable usage patterns. While the recent history is devoid of defects, the 2021 advisory for front tyre wear on the nearside and offside edges warrants attention during a physical inspection. Uneven tyre wear of this nature can sometimes be a symptom of underlying suspension geometry issues or imperfect wheel alignment. When conducting a test drive, pay close attention to the steering response and check for any pulling to one side when the steering wheel is released on a level surface. Additionally, listen for any rhythmic thumping or vibration through the steering wheel that could indicate uneven tread wear or tyre deformation. Given the absence of recent advisories for structural or fluid-related issues, the primary focus should remain on the consumables and alignment. Ensure that the current tyre tread depth is well within legal limits and that the wear pattern across the width of the tyre remains even. Any evidence of rapid or uneven wear on the edges of the tyres would suggest that the tracking or camber settings require professional adjustment to prevent premature replacement of the rubber.
