2007 MINI 1.4L Petrol · CX07 PZN

The vehicle presents a currently roadworthy status with a stable maintenance trend, evidenced by the most recent test on 24 October 2022 at 105,649 miles returning a pass with no defects recorded. Prior to that, the 17 August 2021 test at 103,881 miles also passed cleanly. The history shows no escalating faults and no outstanding advisories across the supplied entries. The recorded mileage of 105,649 at the 2022 test reflects low use for a 2007-registered car, averaging roughly 5,560 miles per year. The gap between the 24 June 2021 failure at 103,752 miles and the 17 August 2021 pass at 103,881 miles covers only 129 miles, indicating the car was promptly repaired and retested. Two failed tests in June and August 2021 at near-identical mileages, both with no defects formally logged, suggest administrative or presentation issues at the testing station rather than mechanical deterioration. The clean 2021 and 2022 passes imply the previous owner kept the car to a basic roadworthy standard without flagged wear on tyres, brakes, or suspension. A buyer should still commission an in-person inspection of structural integrity and underbody corrosion given the car's nineteen-year age and likely periods of standing. Low annual mileage often masks perished rubber suspension bushes, seized calipers, and flat-spotted tyres from storage. The DVSA record shows no advisories on exhaust emissions, coil springs, or brake discs, but the absence of flagged items in a sparse history is not proof of condition. Verify the actual odometer against the 2022 figure of 105,649 and confirm no unrecorded mileage has accrued since. Given the 2021 double failure with no defects cited, question the testing regime and seek evidence of rectification work. A pre-purchase check of fluid condition, handbrake efficiency, and subframe rust remains prudent on this MINI.
