2014 Toyota Aygo 1.0L Petrol · CX14 OBB

The Toyota Aygo presents a currently roadworthy status following the most recent pass recorded on 21 February 2025 at 151,763 miles, with no defects listed. The maintenance trend appears stable across the three years of available data, as every test that passed or failed carried a clean defect sheet. The repeated fail-pass pairs on the same dates in 2024 and 2025 suggest administrative re-tests rather than mechanical rectification, with the vehicle clearing each time without advisories. Annual mileage sits at roughly 12,647 miles against a 2014 build, a high figure for this city-oriented model. The record shows 130,071 miles at the February 2023 test, rising to 139,186 miles by March 2024 and 151,763 miles by February 2025. That equates to about 9,000 to 12,500 miles added per year, a consistent accumulation with no standing periods or sudden jumps. The sparse history offers only three pass results and two same-day fails, leaving little visibility of worn consumables or hidden corrosion between tests. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs given the mileage. The MOT data flags no advisories on structural integrity or exhaust emissions, yet high annual use accelerates wear unseen by a clean sheet. Verify the 2024 and 2025 fails were clerical, not roadworthiness-related, by checking the failure reasons on the DVSA portal. Previous owners kept the Aygo tested yearly with no recorded defects, implying basic statutory care if not proactive servicing. The same-day retests point to paperwork slips rather than neglected repairs. Given 151,763 miles, expect tyre, wiper, and fluid intervals to need confirmation against real condition rather than MOT outcome.
