The 2014 BMW 640 presents a currently roadworthy status following a clean pass on 12 November 2025 at 134,489 miles, with the maintenance trend appearing stable across the recorded history. The vehicle carries no advisories or defects across any of its five listed tests, and the most recent failure on 8 November 2025 at 134,484 miles shows no recorded defects, indicating a non-mechanical administrative or presentation issue rather than a fault-driven rejection. Recorded mileage sits at 134,489 against an approximate twelve-year lifespan, equating to around 11,200 miles per year and reflecting typical use for a grand tourer of this class. The gap between the October 2023 pass at 120,959 miles and the October 2024 pass at 131,998 miles shows roughly 11,000 miles covered, with a further 2,491 miles added by November 2025. No rapid accumulation or prolonged standing is evident, and the sparse but clean record gives little cause for concern on consumable wear frequency. A buyer should still commission an in-person inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake disc condition given the car's age and mileage, as MOT passes with no advisories do not confirm component life remaining. The twin November 2025 tests four days apart at near-identical mileage suggest the vendor addressed a minor compliance point quickly; verify the rectification paperwork and confirm no outstanding structural corrosion around subframes or sills. Given the absence of recorded faults across five years of testing, previous ownership appears to have maintained basic statutory standards, though the lack of advisories means latent wear on tyres, wipers, and exhaust emissions systems should be physically checked before purchase.
