2014 SEAT Leon 2.0L Diesel · DA14 YGR

The 2014 SEAT Leon presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 7 March 2026 at 95,671 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken five-year sequence of clean MOT results. Annual mileage sits at a typical level for a twelve-year-old vehicle. The records show 67,227 miles in March 2022, rising to 73,403 by February 2023, 81,631 in February 2024, 88,947 in March 2025, and 95,671 in March 2026. That equates to roughly 7,300 to 8,700 miles added each year with no gaps or sudden accumulation spikes. The DVSA data carries no advisories across any of those tests, so the history is sparse on flagged wear but also free of concerning faults. A buyer should still arrange a physical inspection of consumable and structural items that MOT tests may not expose in detail. With no advisories logged, suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs, and underbody corrosion have shown no recorded deterioration, yet a car of this age and mileage warrants hands-on checks for perished rubber components and surface rust on sills or subframes. Given the clean record, prior owners appear to have kept the Leon to a standard that avoided test failures and advisories alike. The absence of recurring defects suggests disciplined basic upkeep rather than deferred maintenance, though pre-purchase scrutiny of tyre condition and exhaust emissions remains sensible on any used hatchback of this era.
