2004 Baimo Renegade 0.1L Petrol · DA54 XPE

The 2004 Baimo Renegade shows a passed MOT from 30 October 2024 at 5,080 miles with no defects recorded, leaving it roadworthy on paper as of its last test. The maintenance trend appears stable, with the most recent pass following a same-day failure that listed no defects, suggesting an administrative or presentation issue rather than a mechanical fault. Prior to that, the 26 September 2023 test at 4,864 miles passed after an identical same-day failure with no defects noted. Recorded mileage stands at 5,080 miles over roughly 22 years, averaging about 231 miles per year. The odometer moved just 216 miles between September 2023 and October 2024, confirming extremely light use. Such low annual coverage across two decades implies long stationary periods, though the sparse record shows no rapid accumulation or usage spikes to flag. The clean MOT history gives no advisories on suspension bushes, brake discs, exhaust emissions, or structural corrosion, so no recurring mechanical faults emerge from the data. A buyer should still inspect in person for perished rubber components, binding calipers, and underbody rust, as these degrade with age and disuse even when testers log nothing. The twin same-day fail-pass pairs in 2023 and 2024 warrant a check of the V5C and test centre notes to rule out clerical errors.
