2012 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2L Diesel · DA62 AOC

The 2012 Vauxhall Corsa demonstrates a stable roadworthiness trend, with the most recent MOT on 2025-06-02 at 93,681 miles recording a pass and no defects. Previous tests from 2024 and 2023 show intermittent failures on consecutive dates (e.g., 2024-05-21 and 2024-05-22) with no recorded issues, suggesting potential minor faults resolved between tests. No critical structural or mechanical failures are documented, indicating consistent maintenance. The vehicle’s mileage of 93,681 miles aligns with its 14-year age, averaging 6,692 miles annually, which is typical for its class. The MOT history reveals no significant gaps in testing, with annual assessments between 2023 and 2025. Mileage increments between tests—such as 86,979 miles (2023-05-09) to 90,518 miles (2024-05-22)—reflect steady usage without abrupt spikes. While the record lacks detailed defect descriptions, the absence of major issues in the latest test implies the vehicle has been maintained to acceptable standards. However, the repeated failures without recorded faults may indicate minor, recurring problems requiring closer inspection. A buyer should prioritize checking suspension components, particularly bushes and coil springs, given the vehicle’s age and mileage. Brake systems, including discs and calipers, warrant scrutiny due to the potential for wear in high-mileage vehicles. Structural corrosion, especially in body panels and underbody areas, should also be assessed, as it often develops in older models. The MOT history does not highlight specific issues, but the vehicle’s 14-year lifespan and consistent usage suggest that routine maintenance has likely addressed most risks, though not all.
