2016 Toyota Aygo 1.0L Petrol · DK16 AEE

The vehicle is currently roadworthy, having passed its most recent MOT test on 16 February 2026 at 161,944 miles. The maintenance trend appears stable, as the car consistently achieves passes following immediate failures in the same session. While the history shows a pattern of faults being rectified just before a pass, the lack of recorded advisories in the latest three tests suggests the vehicle met the minimum legal safety standards at the time of inspection. At 161,944 miles, this ten-year-old Toyota has covered a significant distance, averaging approximately 16,200 miles per year. The data shows consistent and heavy usage, with 16,312 miles recorded between February 2024 and February 2025, and another 14,464 miles covered between March 2025 and February 2026. This high rate of accumulation typically results in accelerated wear on drivetrain components, suspension bushings, and exhaust-related hardware compared to lower-mileage examples of the same age. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on the components most susceptible to high-mileage stress. Given the mileage, a thorough check of the suspension geometry, including shock absorbers and control arms, is essential to identify excessive play. The braking system should be examined for signs of binding calipers or thin discs, as high-frequency driving often exhausts these consumables quickly. While the MOT record does not highlight structural corrosion, a close inspection of the underbody for rust or fatigue is necessary to ensure the high annual mileage has not compromised the structural integrity of the chassis.
