2016 Audi A3 Sport NAV TDI 1.6L Heavy oil · DP65 MBO

The vehicle presents a stable level of roadworthiness, evidenced by a remarkably clean MOT history. The most recent test conducted on 19 March 2026 at 133,170 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This suggests a consistent maintenance standard where the previous owners likely addressed necessary repairs before they resulted in test failures, maintaining the mechanical integrity of the Audi over time. The mileage profile indicates a significant increase in usage over the last four years. Between February 2020 at 54,019 miles and September 2022 at 98,941 miles, the car covered approximately 45,000 miles. However, usage accelerated rapidly thereafter, with the vehicle clock another 34,229 miles between the September 2022 test and the March 2026 test. This average of over 13,300 miles per year is above the national average for a vehicle of this age, placing consistent stress on components such as the turbocharger, suspension bushings, and braking system. While the digital record shows no recurring advisories, a physical inspection must focus on the components subject to high-mileage diesel operation. The buyer should inspect for wear on front control arm bushes and shock absorbers, as these often degrade under high-mileage motorway use. Given the mileage of 133,170, verifying the condition of the timing belt and water pump is critical, as the MOT does not cover these internal engine components. Additionally, checking the brake discs for excessive liping or thin rotors is necessary to ensure the high mileage has not led to neglected friction material depletion.
