2014 Mercedes-Benz G 5.5L Petrol · DS11 AHG

The vehicle presents a clean-level roadworthiness profile based on the most recent MOT result. On 5 March 2025 at 46,858 miles, the tester passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This indicates a stable maintenance trend where the vehicle currently meets all safety and emissions standards without any immediate mechanical failures or structural concerns flagged. The recorded mileage of 46,858 miles over a twelve-year period is significantly low, averaging approximately 3,900 miles per annum. This low usage pattern suggests the vehicle has likely been used for short trips or stored for extended periods. While this reduces wear on the drivetrain and engine components, such mileage often leads to age-related degradation of rubber parts and fluids. Data from the 2025 test confirms the vehicle remained operational and in good order as of fifteen months ago. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on components susceptible to low-mileage neglect. Check the suspension bushes, rubber hoses, and tyre sidewalls for dry cracking, as these perish over time regardless of distance driven. The brake discs should be examined for surface corrosion or pitting, as infrequent use can cause oxidation to seize the rotors. Given the age of the vehicle, a thorough check of the chassis for structural rust remains necessary to ensure the low-mileage status has not masked hidden environmental damage.
