2012 Volvo V60 2.0L Diesel · DU12 UEH

The vehicle remains currently roadworthy, though the maintenance trend shows a slight shift toward reactive consumable repairs. While the most recent test in February 2026 at 110,272 miles resulted in a pass, the tester flagged a failed stop lamp and an offside rear tyre worn to the legal limit. The report also noted that sill covers and undertrays were obscuring the inspection, which prevents a definitive assessment of the structural integrity of the lower sills. The mileage pattern is consistent with a 14-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 7,800 miles per year. There is a steady progression of usage, with 10,000 miles covered between November 2022 and November 2023, and another 9,000 miles between late 2023 and early 2025. The clean records from 2021 through 2022 suggest a period where the vehicle was not subjected to significant mechanical stress or component failures that would trigger an advisory. A buyer should prioritize a physical inspection of the rear suspension and alignment geometry, as the recurring reports of uneven tyre wear in both November 2023 and 2026 indicate potential issues with worn bushes or incorrect camber settings. Given the 2026 advisory regarding obscured undertrays, it is essential to remove the plastic trim covers to check for corrosion on the structural sills and mounting points, which often hide on vehicles of this age. Ensure the central stop lamp has been replaced, as this was a known defect in the latest test.
