2016 Vauxhall Corsa SRI Ecoflex 1.4L Petrol · DU16 TYY

The vehicle demonstrates stable roadworthiness with no defects recorded in its last five consecutive MOT tests, including the most recent 2025-08-28 assessment at 116,432 miles. All prior tests from 2020 to 2024 also passed without issues, indicating consistent maintenance and no emerging mechanical concerns. The absence of advisories or failures suggests the car has been well-kept, with no significant wear or damage to critical systems. The mileage progression aligns with typical usage for a 10-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 11,643 miles annually. The records show regular testing intervals, with the only gap occurring between the 2020-03-07 test (47,240 miles) and 2022-08-16 (74,216 miles), a 29-month span. This period coincides with the car’s early ownership phase, but subsequent tests confirm continued compliance. The steady increase in mileage without irregularities implies consistent operation rather than prolonged inactivity or excessive strain. While the MOT history lacks specific mechanical findings, a buyer should verify suspension components, brake systems, and exhaust integrity, as these are common wear areas for vehicles of this age. Inspect for corrosion on underbody panels and check brake disc thickness, given the high mileage. The absence of recorded issues is positive, but physical inspection remains essential to confirm the car’s condition, particularly for hidden damage or long-term wear not captured in MOT records.
