2017 Ford Fiesta 1.2L Petrol · DV67 FVX

The Ford Fiesta stands roadworthy per the 17 January 2026 MOT pass at 96,247 miles, with the maintenance trend stable across the recorded history. The DVSA entries for that date also log a failed test at identical mileage with no defects cited, a pattern repeated on 18 January 2025 at 84,515 miles. Such paired outcomes signal administrative anomalies rather than escalating wear. The mechanical trajectory is flat, neither worsening nor resolving. Mileage progression aligns with typical use for a nine-year-old vehicle. The record moves from 72,933 miles on 16 January 2024 to 84,515 miles on 18 January 2025, then to 96,247 miles on 17 January 2026, equating to roughly 11,600 miles per year. No abrupt accumulation or standing gaps appear. The sparse three-year trail shows clean sheets each time, suggesting previous keepers pursued timely annual compliance though the dual pass/fail logs hint at clerical slack. A buyer should still commission an in-person inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs and calipers, as zero advisories do not preclude latent wear invisible during a brief test. Verify structural integrity for corrosion around sills and subframes given the car's age. The same-day fail entries warrant a DVSA certificate check to confirm no suppressed defect code or documentation issue.
