2018 Vauxhall Vivaro 1.6L Diesel · DV68 NVF

The most recent MOT on 2025-12-12 recorded three issues: a non-obligatory stop lamp not working, nearside rear brake pads wearing thin, and a nearside rear tyre worn close to the legal limit. These defects suggest ongoing maintenance needs, particularly with braking components and tyre condition. The stop lamp issue has appeared twice before, in 2024-12-27 and 2022-12-14, indicating a recurring problem that may not have been fully resolved. Brake pad wear and tyre degradation are the primary recurring concerns. The 2021 MOT noted similar brake pad issues, while tyre wear on both front tyres was recorded in 2021 and again in 2025. This pattern implies either consistent neglect in maintenance or potential alignment/tyre balance problems. The 2024-01-03 MOT identified a front undertray not fully secure, a one-off issue likely addressed since then. The condition trend shows stability in major safety risks, with no new critical defects since 2022. However, the repetition of minor issues like stop lamp failures and tyre/brake wear suggests ongoing attention is required. Mileage of 60,874 miles over 8 years aligns with the average of 7,609 miles per year, indicating typical usage.
