2007 Fiat Ducato 3.0L Diesel · DX57 HXV

The vehicle remains in a roadworthy condition with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent inspection conducted on 21 July 2025 at 52,433 miles resulted in a pass with no defects or advisories recorded, indicating that the vehicle currently meets all regulatory standards. Following a single failure in August 2024, the vehicle has maintained consecutive clean passes, suggesting that any mechanical or structural issues identified at that time were successfully rectified. The mileage profile is exceptionally low for a 19-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 2,760 miles per year. Between August 2022 at 38,999 miles and July 2025 at 52,433 miles, the vehicle covered 13,434 miles over three years. This consistent, low-usage pattern suggests that the engine and drivetrain components have seen limited stress compared to typical high-mileage vans. However, such low annual mileage increases the likelihood of age-related issues, such as degraded rubber components or perished seals, rather than mechanical wear. A prospective buyer should focus their physical inspection on signs of age-related degradation that the MOT record might not capture. Given the low usage, it is vital to check the chassis for structural corrosion and surface rust, which can be exacerbated by long periods of standing stationary. Inspect the suspension bushes for cracking or tearing, and examine the brake discs for pitting or corrosion, as infrequently used brakes often corrode. While the MOT history is clean, the buyer should also monitor for fluid leaks from the engine or gearbox, as seals can dry out and fail over decades regardless of mileage driven.
