2007 Suzuki Swift 1.5L Petrol · EJ07 AEK

The 2007 Suzuki Swift presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend, evidenced by the most recent MOT test on 27 January 2026 at 130,132 miles returning a pass with no defects recorded. Prior tests on 6 January 2025 at 129,020 miles and 5 December 2023 at 126,625 miles also passed cleanly. The vehicle shows no worsening mechanical faults across the available record. Annual mileage sits at a typical 6,849 miles for a 19-year-old car. The record reveals a minor anomaly: a failed test on 29 November 2023 at 126,618 miles with no defects listed, corrected by a pass six days later at 126,625 miles. This suggests an administrative or presentation issue rather than a mechanical fault. Between November 2022 and January 2026 the car covered only 10,590 miles, confirming light recent use by the previous owner. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs given the vehicle's age and 130,132 miles. The clean MOT history means no advisories flag wear on these components, but nineteen years invites hidden corrosion to subframes and sills not caught in a standard test. Check exhaust emissions and structural integrity at ground level before purchase. The absence of recurring faults or consumable failures such as tyres and wiper blades implies the previous keeper maintained basic upkeep. Low annual mileage reduces strain on the drivetrain. Verify service history to confirm fluid changes align with the sparse but clean MOT record.
