2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class 3.0L Diesel · ET65 AAO

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness status, evidenced by five consecutive years of clean MOT passes. The most recent test on 25 March 2026 at 234,648 miles resulted in no defects, mirroring the clean records seen in the previous four years. This consistency suggests that the vehicle has been maintained to a standard that avoids major mechanical or structural failures that typically plague high-mileage luxury saloons. The mileage profile indicates exceptionally high annual use, averaging over 21,000 miles per year across its eleven-year life. Between March 2023 and March 2024, the vehicle covered 32,989 miles in a single year, representing a significant spike in usage. In contrast, the period between March 2022 and March 2023 saw only 6,980 miles recorded, suggesting a change in usage patterns. Despite the high accumulation of over 234,000 miles, the record lacks any advisories indicating recurring wear on the drivetrain or suspension components. Given the high mileage and the nature of the Mercedes S-Class, a physical inspection must focus on the integrity of the air suspension system and rubber bushings, which often perish under such heavy loads. While the MOT history shows no structural rust or corrosion, the buyer should check for signs of fluid leaks or uneven wear on the control arms. The absence of recorded advisories implies the brakes and tyres have likely been replaced proactively, but the high mileage puts immense stress on the cooling system and steering rack.
