2015 Yamaha YBR 125 0.1L Petrol · FH64 VKG

The Yamaha YBR 125 presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 10 September 2024 at 4,457 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, and the four available MOT entries from 2022 through 2024 each show a clean pass with no advisories or failures raised. The mileage pattern reflects extremely light use for an 11-year-old machine. Recorded distance rose from 3,065 miles at the 21 June 2022 test to just 4,457 miles by September 2024, an average of roughly 405 miles per year. Gaps exist between tests, with the 2023 entries spaced only months apart in June and September while 2022 to 2023 shows a longer interval, yet no rapid accumulation or sudden jumps appear in the data. The history is sparse and clean, with no consumable wear or mechanical faults ever flagged across the record. A buyer should still inspect the machine in person despite the unblemished MOT trail. Low mileage and long standing periods invite perished rubber components, such as fork seals, coolant hoses, and tyre sidewalls, plus stale brake fluid and possible corrosion on the exhaust and frame from damp storage. The tester never noted suspension bushes, brake discs, or structural integrity issues, but these items warrant hands-on checks given the bike's age. Confirm the odometer reading matches the 4,457 miles logged in 2024 and verify the chain, sprockets, and wheel bearings for wear from inactivity rather than use. The absence of advisories suggests prior owners kept basic statutory compliance, though the record alone cannot confirm deeper mechanical condition.
