2018 Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0L Diesel · FH67 OEJ

The 2025-06-07 MOT at 63,063 miles passed with no defects, confirming current roadworthiness and indicating a stable maintenance record. Since the 2021-12-12 test at 24,745 miles, each annual inspection has produced a pass with zero recorded faults, showing no deterioration in mechanical condition. The vehicle’s mileage has risen from 24,745 miles in late 2021 to 63,063 miles by mid‑2025, an increase of 38,318 miles over 4.5 years, or about 8,515 miles per year in the most recent two‑year span. The jump from 30,736 miles in December 2022 to 47,601 miles in June 2024 represents a 16,865‑mile rise in 18 months, suggesting accelerated usage, while earlier intervals show more modest growth. A buyer should therefore examine the suspension bushes and coil springs for wear, inspect brake discs and calipers for scoring, corrosion or binding, and verify the structural integrity of the sills and wheel arches for rust, as these components typically show stress at this mileage. Check tyre tread depth and condition, wiper blade integrity, and fluid levels, since high mileage accelerates consumable wear. The clean MOT history reduces immediate risk, but the accumulated kilometres imply that a thorough physical inspection is advisable to confirm that wear has been managed and that no latent structural or mechanical issues exist.
