2009 Ford Fiesta 1.4L Petrol · FL58 CHX

The vehicle presents a generally roadworthy profile, showing a remarkably stable maintenance trend over the last five years. The most recent test in February 2026 at 64,962 miles resulted in a pass with a single advisory regarding a slightly distorted nearside front wheel. This represents a minor regression from the clean records achieved in the previous four years, but indicates that the core mechanical integrity of the vehicle remains intact without immediate failures. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a 17-year-old Ford, averaging approximately 3,800 miles per year. Between February 2022 and February 2026, the car covered 10,536 miles, maintaining a consistent annual usage rate that is far below the national average. This suggests short-distance commuting or long periods of inactivity. While low mileage reduces wear on the drivetrain and engine components, the intervals associated with such usage patterns often increase the risk of age-related degradation in rubber components, seals, and fluid chemistry due to oxidation. A buyer should conduct a physical inspection of the nearside front wheel as noted at the 64,962-mile mark to ensure the distortion has not caused lateral run or uneven tyre wear. Given the vehicle's age and low usage, specific attention must be paid to structural corrosion on the sills and wheel arches, which often affects older Fiest of this era regardless of mileage. Inspect the brake system for seized calipers or perished hoses, as low-use vehicles frequently suffer from surface rust on components that are not regularly exercised.
