2017 Ford Kuga 2.0L Diesel · FL67 OCR

The 2017 Ford Kuga presents a stable and clean roadworthiness profile. The most recent test on 31 January 2026 at 80,653 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, and the preceding four annual tests likewise closed with no advisories or failures. The maintenance trend shows no worsening faults and no recurring mechanical concerns across the vehicle's recorded history. The odometer sat at 28,513 miles for the 30 September 2021 test, then 39,959 miles by 1 October 2022, 52,781 miles at the 15 February 2024 examination, 67,044 miles on 8 February 2025, and 80,653 miles in January 2026. That equates to roughly 9,000 miles per year, which is typical for a nine-year-old vehicle. A gap exists between the 2021 and 2022 tests of just over twelve months, yet the mileage step remains consistent. The DVSA data is sparse on faults, showing five consecutive passes with no minor consumable wear or structural issues logged. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs given the age and the fact that MOT passes with zero advisories do not confirm component life remaining. The tester recorded no corrosion or exhaust emission faults, so structural integrity appears sound on paper. Verify the underbody for rust and check the front calipers for free movement during the viewing. Previous owners kept the Kuga to a conservative annual mileage and cleared every test first time. That pattern implies basic upkeep was maintained, though the absence of advisories means wear items like tyres and wiper blades were likely renewed before each test rather than flagged. Treat the clean record as a positive sign, but confirm service history to validate engine and drivetrain care.
