2021 Volkswagen ID3 Life Electric · FL71 AED

The 2021 Volkswagen ID3 Life presents a stable and clean roadworthiness profile. The most recent test on 25 April 2025 at 26,830 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, and the prior test on 21 August 2024 at 24,747 miles also passed with no advisories. The maintenance trend shows no worsening faults, recurring defects, or unresolved mechanical concerns across the two available records. The vehicle has covered roughly 5,366 miles per year against its five-year age, a low annual figure that points to light use or extended standing periods. Between the August 2024 and April 2025 tests the car added only 2,083 miles over eight months, consistent with gentle private use rather than high-load commuting. The MOT history is sparse, with just two entries and zero advisories, so the record gives no evidence of neglected consumables or deferred repairs. A buyer should still commission an in-person inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs given the car's likely periods of inactivity, as standing EVs can develop flat-spotted tyres and seized calipers without warning signs in a clean MOT. The battery enclosure and high-voltage cabling require specialist diagnostic checks the MOT does not cover. No structural corrosion, exhaust emission failures, or mechanical recalls appear in the data. The absence of advisories suggests previous owners kept basic upkeep current, but the limited test history means a pre-purchase technical inspection remains prudent before commitment.
