2013 Ford Fiesta 1.2L Petrol · FP13 YCA

The 2013 Ford Fiesta shows a passed roadworthiness status from its most recent test on 2 November 2021 at 68,457 miles, though the same-day failure with no defects logged points to an administrative or process anomaly rather than a mechanical fault. The maintenance trend cannot be judged as stable, worsening, or improving beyond that date, as no further MOT data exists in the four years since. The vehicle has stood for a considerable period with no recorded test. At approximately 13 years old the Fiesta carries 68,457 miles, equating to roughly 5,266 miles per year, which is low for its age and suggests light use or extended standing. The record jumps from a same-day fail and pass on 2 November 2021 at 68,457 miles straight to the present with no intermediate entries. Such a gap of nearly five years leaves the current mechanical state unverified by statutory testing. A buyer should commission a fresh MOT and full inspection before purchase, prioritising corrosion on structural members, suspension bushes, and brake calipers that may have seized through disuse. Standing vehicles commonly develop flat-spotted tyres, degraded fluid, and binding handbrake mechanisms. The lack of advisories in 2021 gives no prior warning of wear, so physical checks on exhaust integrity and underbody condition are essential. Given the low annual mileage and the unexplained same-day fail-pass, previous ownership likely involved minimal regular use rather than neglect of consumables. The buyer must treat the 2021 pass as expired evidence and verify roadworthiness directly, as no trend data exists to confirm ongoing care.
