2001 Kawasaki ZX-6R 0.6L Petrol · FX51 HHB

The vehicle is presently roadworthy, as the most recent MOT on 31 March 2023 at 71,774 miles recorded no defects and was marked as passed, indicating a stable maintenance trend with no evidence of worsening or improving condition. The recorded mileage of 71,774 miles equates to an average annual usage of roughly 2,871 miles over the 25‑year lifespan of the 2001 model, indicating relatively light use; the identical mileage on both the passed and failed entries on the same date confirms that no significant distance was covered between inspections. A buyer should therefore focus on the mechanical components that typically show age‑related wear: suspension bushes and coil springs for cracking or corrosion, binding rear brake calipers and worn brake discs, and any signs of structural rust on the chassis or subframes. Particular attention to the exhaust system’s emissions and the integrity of the structural frame is advisable, given the vehicle’s age despite the low mileage.
