2016 Harley Davidson Flhtkse 1.8L Petrol · GD16 KSK

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness status with a clean record following an initial setback. The most recent MOT test on 28 March 2022 at 4,657 miles resulted in a complete pass, indicating that all mechanical and structural components met minimum standards at that time. Since the failure in 2019, the motorcycle has passed consecutive inspections without any recorded defects or advisories. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a ten-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 466 miles per year. Between June 2019 and March 2022, the vehicle covered only 792 miles, suggesting long periods of stationary or very short-term use. This low mileage generally implies minimal wear on the drivetrain, engine, and brake pads, but the significant gap between tests means the 2022 data is now over four years old. The current mechanical state of consumables like rubber-based parts and fluids cannot be reflected in the mileage-based data alone. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on risks associated with low-mileage storage rather than wear. Inspect the tyres for flat spots, sidewall rot, and cracking, as rubber components degrade when a vehicle sits for long periods. Check the brake fluid for moisture contamination and examine the fork seals for leaks that often occur from lack of movement. Because the last record is from 2022, a thorough check of the structural integrity for hidden corrosion is necessary to ensure no issues developed during the extended stationary period.
