2006 Citroen Berlingo 1.9L Diesel · GJ06 AHK

The 2006 Citroen Berlingo presents a stable roadworthiness profile, with all six consecutive MOT tests from 2021 to 2025 recording no defects. The most recent 2025-08-22 test at 152,473 miles confirmed compliance, indicating consistent maintenance. No recurring issues or advisories appear in the history, suggesting the vehicle has been well-cared for over its 20-year lifespan. The absence of critical failures or structural concerns in the records supports a neutral assessment of its mechanical condition. The mileage progression aligns with typical usage for the model, averaging 7,624 miles annually. Tests spaced 12 months apart show steady accumulation, with no abrupt jumps or prolonged inactivity evident. The 2021-09-07 test at 131,706 miles to the 2025-08-22 test at 152,473 miles reflects a 20,767-mile increase over four years, consistent with regular operation. No gaps in the MOT timeline raise red flags, and the lack of repeated failures on components like brakes or suspension implies no systemic deterioration. A buyer should physically inspect the suspension system for worn bushes or coil springs, as these often degrade over two decades of use. The exhaust system and brake discs warrant close examination, as minor corrosion or wear might not trigger MOT failures. While the records show no signs of structural rust or frame damage, a thorough check of the chassis and underbody is advisable. The vehicle’s clean MOT history suggests reliability, but a pre-purchase inspection should confirm the condition of high-mileage components not assessed during routine tests.
