2022 Toyota Corolla Excel HEV CVT 1.8L Hybrid electric (clean) · HJ72 AEP

The vehicle presents a clean roadworthiness profile as evidenced by the most recent MOT test on 9 December 2025. At 9,762 miles, the car passed the inspection with zero recorded defects or advisories. This indicates a stable maintenance trend where the vehicle has met all safety and environmental standards without any mechanical or structural failures flagged during the testing period. The mileage is exceptionally low for a four-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 2,440 miles per year. This pattern suggests the car has seen minimal use, which typically results in reduced wear on components like suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake pads. However, low-mileage vehicles can occasionally suffer from issues such as flat-spotted tyres or brake corrosion if the car has sat stationary for extended periods. Since the MOT history shows no recurring faults or historical concerns, a physical inspection should focus on verifying the authenticity of the low mileage claim. A buyer should check the brake discs for surface rust and ensure the calipers are not binding due to lack of use. Inspecting the rubber components for age-related cracking is also advisable, as materials can degrade over time regardless of distance driven. Given the clean data, the vehicle appears to be well-maintained, but the buyer should confirm the service history aligns with the recorded mileage.
