2011 Fiat Ducato 3.0L Diesel · HX11 MXT

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness status, evidenced by a clean record of passes over the last five years. The most recent test conducted in March 2026 at 13,861 miles resulted in no defects or advisories. This consistency suggests that the vehicle has been maintained to a standard that avoids the common pitfalls of mechanical failure or structural degradation typically seen in commercial vans of this age. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a fifteen-year-old Ducato, averaging approximately 924 miles per year. Between September 2021 and March 2026, the vehicle covered only 2,661 miles, with a significant gap of just 17 miles recorded between the 2024 and 2026 tests. Such low usage indicates the vehicle likely sits stationary for long periods between uses. While this limits wear on the drivetrain and engine internal components, it increases the risk of perished rubber, seized components, and fluid degradation which occurs over time rather than distance. A buyer must focus the physical inspection on components that suffer from age-related decay despite low mileage. Check for rot and cracking in tyres, drive belts, and suspension bushes, which often fail on stationary vehicles. Given the age of the Ducato, inspect the chassis for structural corrosion and surface rust, as these can develop even without a vehicle passing tests. Additionally, ensure the brake calipers are not seized and the brake fluid has not absorbed moisture due to lack of use.
