2018 BMW X6 3.0L Diesel · JA64 JAT

The 2018 BMW X6 presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 22 December 2025 at 42,278 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken sequence of clean results across the available history. Annual mileage sits well below typical expectations for an eight-year-old vehicle. The record shows 21,240 miles at the 2 December 2023 test, rising to 32,318 miles on 23 December 2024 and 42,278 miles by December 2025. That equates to roughly 10,000 to 11,000 miles added in each of the last two years, yet a cumulative 42,278 miles across the life of the car suggests extended periods of low use or storage earlier on. Three consecutive passes with zero advisories indicate the prior keeper addressed any required work before each test and kept basic upkeep current. With no advisories or failures logged, the MOT data reveals no recurring suspension, braking, or corrosion issues to track. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of structural integrity, suspension bushes, and brake discs given the low overall mileage and likely standing periods, which can accelerate perished rubbers and surface corrosion unseen by the annual test. The clean record implies conscientious ownership rather than deferred maintenance. Verify service history against the low mileage to confirm fluids, calipers, and tyres received time-based rather than mileage-based attention.
