2022 Land Rover Defender XS Edition D Mhev A 3.0L Diesel · KE21 AAA

The vehicle presents in a state of full roadworthiness following its most recent MOT test on 22 May 2026. At 31,986 miles, the inspection passed with no defects recorded, indicating a stable maintenance trend where the vehicle currently meets all statutory safety and emissions standards. The absence of reported mechanical or structural failures in the record suggests the vehicle has remained in good operational condition. With 31,986 miles over four years, the Defender has averaged approximately 8,000 miles per annum. This usage pattern is consistent with typical requirements for a premium SUV of this age, suggesting the vehicle has not been subjected to excessive strain from high-mileage commuting or heavy neglect. The mileage remains relatively low for the year, which generally correlates with less wear on the complex mild-hybrid drivetrain and air suspension components compared to higher-mileage examples. Since the MOT history is clean of advisories, a buyer should focus their physical inspection on standard consumable items that are not captured during a stationary test. Even with low mileage, checking for uneven wear on the brake pads and discs and the condition of the tyre rubber is essential. Given the vehicle's age, a thorough check of the lower suspension bushes and any signs of fluid leaks around the undercarriage is advisable to ensure the structural integrity of the chassis remains uncompromised.
