2011 Toyota Hilux 2.5L Diesel · KE61 WKF

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a consistent history of passes. The most recent test conducted on January 9, 2023 at 126,801 miles resulted in no defects, indicating that the mechanical and structural components met the required standards at that time. This suggests the owner maintained the vehicle to a standard that avoids major mechanical failures or recurring safety-related advisories. The recorded mileage of 126,801 miles over 15 years averages to approximately 8,453 miles per year, which aligns with typical usage patterns for a utility vehicle of this age. Data shows a steady accumulation of mileage between January 2019 at 90,075 miles and January 2023 at 126,801 miles. However, there is a significant gap in the record as the last MOT was performed over three years ago. Given the current date, the vehicle is overdue for a test test immediately to ensure the mechanical condition has not deteriorated since the last recorded inspection. A physical inspection should focus on the braking system given the minor advisory in January 2021 at 109,554 miles regarding the secondary brake grabbing. While this was resolved in subsequent tests, the buyer should check for binding calipers or uneven wear on the discs. Additionally, the age of the Hilux necessitates a thorough check of the chassis and underside for structural corrosion or perished suspension bushes, as these are common points of failure on older pickups that do not always appear in MOT records until they become significant failures.
