2012 Volkswagen Polo Match TDI 1.2L Diesel · KFZ 1084

The 2024-09-30 MOT at 92,202 miles recorded a pass with no defects, confirming that the vehicle remains roadworthy as of the latest test. The consecutive passes in 2021, 2022 and 2024 show a stable maintenance record with no recurring failures. Mileage has risen from 71,736 miles in September 2021 to 75,233 miles by October 2022, an increase of 3,497 miles in one year, then to 92,202 miles by September 2024, adding 16,969 miles over two years. This acceleration suggests increased usage in the past two years, but the annual average of roughly 6,600 miles aligns with the vehicle’s 14‑year age. A buyer should therefore focus on the mechanical components that typically show wear: suspension bushes and coil springs for cracking or sagging, brake discs and calipers for scoring or binding, and the chassis for any signs of structural rust, especially around the wheel arches and sills. The exhaust system should also be examined for corrosion or leaks, and the tyre tread depth and wiper condition should be verified as consumable items that may have been neglected. Overall, the absence of recorded defects in three successive tests indicates that previous owners have maintained the car adequately, but the mileage acceleration warrants a close inspection of wear‑prone parts before purchase.
