2012 Honda CBR 125 R-C 0.1L Petrol · KM62 ACJ

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile, evidenced by the most recent MOT pass on October 23, 2025 at 3,851 miles. This test resulted in no recorded defects or advisories, indicating that the mechanical and structural components met all statutory standards. The history suggests a consistent lack of significant mechanical failure or structural corrosion over the documented testing periods. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a fourteen-year-old motorcycle, averaging approximately 275 miles per year. A significant nine-year gap exists between the August 2016 test at 3,773 miles and the October 2025 test at 3,851 miles. This indicates the vehicle likely spent long periods in storage or was used only very sparingly. While this limits the wear and tear on the engine and drivetrain components, it introduces risks associated with age-related degradation rather than mileage-related fatigue. Buyers must prioritize a physical inspection of components affected by long-term storage and low-use cycles. Check for dry rot and cracking in the rubber-based tyre sidewalls, brake lines, and fork seals which often degrade regardless of mileage. The braking system should be scrutinized for seized calipers or perished fluid, as infrequent use frequently leads to internal component corrosion. Additionally, inspect the fuel system for varnish and the drive chain for excessive stretch or rust to ensure the low mileage has not masked underlying neglect during periods of inactivity.
