2013 Audi A4 S Line Black Edition TDI 2.0L Diesel · KS12 DAV

The vehicle presents a currently roadworthy status following the December 2025 test at 123,941 miles, where the tester recorded no defects. The maintenance trend shows a brief instability earlier in 2025 but resolved by year end. In September 2025 the car failed twice within ten days at 121,008 and 121,352 miles with no defects logged, then passed cleanly three months later, indicating administrative or presentation issues rather than mechanical decline. Annual mileage sits at roughly 9,500 miles across the 13-year life, a typical use rate for a 2013 Audi A4. The records show steady accumulation: 101,434 miles in June 2023, 108,886 in June 2024, and 121,000-plus by September 2025. A gap exists between the June 2024 pass and the September 2025 failures, during which about 12,500 miles were covered with no intermediate test data. The DVSA history is otherwise sparse, with no advisories or recorded wear on tyres, brakes, suspension bushes, or corrosion across any entry. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of the brake discs, coil springs, and subframe for structural rust given the car's age and the unexplained 2025 failures. The clean record offers no flagged recurring faults, yet two consecutive September 2025 rejects with zero defects suggest the vehicle may have been presented with documentation or identification discrepancies rather than worn consumables. Verify the V5C and test certificate alignment before purchase. Prior ownership appears to have maintained the car without neglected consumable replacement, as no tyre tread or wiper blade failures appear. The lack of advisories through 108,886 miles in 2024 implies reasonable upkeep, though the silent period before the 2025 tests leaves mechanical condition between June 2024 and September 2025 unverified by MOT data.
