2015 Peugeot Partner 1.6L Diesel · KY65 DWX

This Peugeot Partner has maintained a clean MOT record over the past four years, with the most recent test in August 2025 at 146,635 miles passing without any mechanical defects—only a minor cosmetic issue with a chipped windscreen. The absence of advisories or failures in the last five tests suggests the vehicle’s core systems—brakes, suspension, steering, and emissions—have been well-maintained or repaired proactively. No recurring faults indicate a stable condition, though the August 2025 entry’s windscreen damage, while non-critical, hints at potential neglect of minor upkeep. The consistent passing history implies the previous owner addressed issues promptly, but the high mileage accumulation (13,330 miles annually) means wear on high-friction components like tyres, brake pads, and suspension bushes will be accelerated. The mileage progression reveals a steady, high-usage pattern with no prolonged gaps—each test shows roughly 16,000–17,000 miles between checks, aligning with the vehicle’s average annual mileage. There’s no evidence of stalling or low-mileage periods, which rules out intermittent disuse or storage. The most recent 16,443-mile span (from September 2024 to August 2025) is typical of the trend, reinforcing that this Partner has been driven regularly rather than sporadically. This level of usage is above average for its age, so a buyer should expect above-average wear on consumables like tyres and brake components, though the MOT history doesn’t suggest any underlying mechanical stress beyond normal expectations. Given the clean MOT history, a buyer should prioritise an in-person inspection of the suspension—specifically the bushes, coil springs, and ball joints—for signs of fatigue or leaks, given the high mileage. The brakes should be checked for uneven wear or binding, particularly the rear calipers, as the last test didn’t flag any issues but high mileage increases the risk of premature pad or disc thinning. Structural integrity is less of a concern with no corrosion advisories, but a close look at the undercarriage for rust in high-stress areas (sills, subframes) is prudent. The exhaust system and emissions should also be verified, as no recent advisories mean it’s passed, but high mileage can lead to clogged DPF filters or catalytic converter inefficiency if the vehicle is diesel. Tyre condition and tread depth will be critical, given the lack of recent MOT advisories on them.
