2006 Audi A3 2.0L Diesel · LD06 TRV

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile following a period of mechanical non-compliance two years ago. Since the latest test in November 2024 at 144,113 miles, the car passed with no defects recorded, indicating that the previous issues were addressed effectively. The transition from two failures in late 2022 to three consecutive clean passes suggests the current owner has maintained a proactive repair standard over the last two years. The mileage pattern remains consistent with a well-used vehicle of this age, averaging approximately 7,200 miles per year. Between November 2023 and November 2024, the car covered 12,578 miles, which represents a steady usage rate rather than extreme wear or long periods of neglect. The gap between tests is regular, showing the vehicle has been tested on an annual basis without significant delays, providing a reliable data of data for the 20-year-old chassis. While the recent records are clean, the two failures in October and November 2022 at approximately 118,810 to 118,964 miles warrant a close physical inspection. A buyer should verify that the components which caused those specific failures are not showing signs of premature wear or degradation. Given the age of the Audi A3, focus should be placed on checking for corrosion around the sills and wheel arches, as well as the condition of suspension bushes and coil springs which frequently fatigue on this platform regardless of mileage.
