2011 BMW 120 2.0L Diesel · LK11 LOA

A consistent track record of roadworthiness defines this vehicle, with a series of clean passes in the most recent five years, including the latest test on 12 January 2023. The overall trend indicates a stable mechanical state, as the only recorded defects in the last decade were limited to routine consumable wear rather than structural or systemic failures. The recorded mileage of 94,519 miles represents an average annual accumulation of approximately 6,300 miles over its fifteen-year lifespan. This level of usage is typical for a vehicle of this age, suggesting a balanced distribution of wear across the drivetrain and suspension components. There are no significant gaps in the testing history that would indicate prolonged periods of inactivity, which typically reduces the risk of seized calipers or perished rubber seals. Guidance for a physical inspection should focus on the components flagged in earlier reports, specifically the brake pads and tyres. Between 2016 and 2018, the vehicle had multiple advisories for thinning brake pads and tyre perishing. A buyer should verify the current remaining friction material on the pads and inspect the tyre sidewalls for cracking. During a test drive, listen for any grinding or squealing during deceleration and feel for pedal judder, which would indicate that the braking system requires attention despite the clean recent MOT results.
