2016 Ford Mondeo 1.5L Diesel · LL16 GBF

The vehicle currently holds a roadworthy status following its most recent MOT test on 26 June 2025 at 120,825 miles. While the record shows a technical failure on that same date, the lack of recorded defects for either the fail or pass suggests an administrative anomaly or a minor issue rectified immediately without formal documentation. The overall maintenance trend appears remarkably stable, as the car has passed three consecutive annual tests without any recorded advisories or mechanical failures since 2022. At 120,825 miles, this ten-year-old Ford Mondeo has covered an average of approximately 12,000 miles per year. This figure indicates consistent long-distance use rather than long periods of inactivity. The data shows a steady accumulation of mileage, with 11,325 miles driven between June 2023 and June 2024, and another 8,701 miles in the year leading up to the latest test. This regular usage pattern generally suggests the vehicle has been subjected to regular operation, which can help prevent the degradation of components often associated with stationary vehicles. A buyer should focus their in-person inspection on high-wear components associated with high-mileage transit. Despite the clean MOT history, the mileage justifies close scrutiny of the suspension bushes, coil springs, and ball joints for signs of perished rubber or play. One should also inspect the brake discs for uneven wear or binding calipers, as the record does not detail the state of these consumables. Given the age and mileage, verifying the structural integrity of the chassis for underbody corrosion is essential to ensure the high-mileage history has not compromised the long-term durability of the vehicle.
