2015 Toyota Aygo 1.0L Petrol · MA15 AAY

The vehicle maintains a stable roadworthiness status, having passed its most recent inspection in March 2026 at 30,355 miles. While the test passed, the tester flagged both nearside and offside front tyres as worn close to the legal limit with edge wear. This indicates that while the mechanical components are functioning, basic consumables now require immediate attention. The overall trend shows a consistent history of passing tests with no major mechanical or structural failures recorded over the last eight years. The mileage profile is exceptionally low for an eleven-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 2,760 miles per year. Usage remained very minimal between 2018 and 2024, where the car covered only 4,154 miles over six years. However, a significant spike in usage occurred between March 2024 and March 2026, with the mileage increasing by nearly 20,000 miles. This shift suggests a recent change in usage patterns or ownership intensity, which likely explains the accelerated wear on the front tyres and brakes noted in the most recent tests. A buyer should specifically inspect the front braking system, as the March 2025 test at 20,511 miles identified pitted and scored front brake discs. Given the low-mileage history, these issues often stem from corrosion caused by the sitting stationary rather than mechanical abuse. The inspection should also check the rubber components and suspension bushes for cracking, as low-use vehicles can suffer from dry rot over time despite low mileage. The lack of structural rust advisories in the record suggests the chassis remains in good condition for the vehicle's age.
