2006 Honda Jazz 1.3L Petrol · NL06 CXW

The 2006 Honda Jazz presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 7 April 2025 at 82,141 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, and the prior annual tests show the same clean outcome. No recurring advisories or mechanical faults appear across the available history, indicating the vehicle has not entered a worsening condition cycle. Recorded mileage sits at 82,141 against an April 2025 test, equating to roughly 4,100 miles per year over the car's twenty-year life. The jump from 64,367 miles at the April 2022 test to 68,249 by March 2023 shows light use, then 73,501 at the April 2024 failure and 73,503 at the same-day pass, rising to 82,141 by April 2025. The sparse five-entry record carries no gaps beyond normal annual cycles and reveals no rapid accumulation that would stress drivetrain or suspension components. The April 2024 failure at 73,501 miles listed no defects, with a pass issued the same day at 73,503 miles, which suggests an administrative or presentational issue at the test centre rather than a mechanical defect. A buyer should still confirm the V5C and DVSA portal entries match, since a zero-defect failure is atypical and warrants verification of the test station's submission. Given the clean pass record and low annual mileage, focus any in-person inspection on age-related corrosion to structural panels and subframes, degradation of suspension bushes and coil springs from prolonged standing, and condition of brake discs and calipers for binding after storage. Tyres and wiper blades should be checked as consumables, but the MOT data shows no serious structural or mechanical risks flagged by testers.
