2001 Honda Civic 1.6L Petrol · OE51 APF

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile, maintaining a consistent passing record over the last five years. The most recent test conducted on 26 November 2022 at 94,349 miles resulted in a pass with no defects or advisories. This streak of clean sheets suggests that the vehicle has been maintained to a standard that avoids the immediate mechanical failures or structural deteriorations typically flagged during the DVSA inspection process. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a twenty-five-year vehicle, averaging approximately 3,774 miles per annum. Between November 2018 at 89,145 miles and November 2022 at 94,349 miles, the car covered only 5,204 miles over a four-year period. This low usage indicates light operation, which typically reduces wear on the drivetrain and engine components, though it can sometimes lead to age-related degradation of rubber-based parts rather than mileagerelatedrelated. Given the lack of recorded adviseories in the history, a physical inspection should focus on age-related issues that an MOT does not capture. A buyer mustisingise the chassis for structural corrosion, particularly in the sills, wheel panels, and suspension mounting, which are common failure points on this generation of Civic. Because the car sits frequently, checking for perished rubber brake lines, seized way pistons, and old fluid contamination is essential to ensure the vehicle remains reliable despite its low odometer reading.
