2023 Volkswagen Tiguan R-Line TSI S-A 1.5L Petrol · OO13 LWM

The vehicle is currently roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test on 15 January 2026 at 36,940 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This indicates the car met all regulatory safety and emissions standards at the start of the year. The mileage is high for a three year old vehicle, averaging approximately 12,313 miles per year. While the MOT history is sparse due to the car's age and the timing of its first required test, the lack of previous failures suggests the owner has managed the increased wear associated with high-mileage usage effectively. A buyer should focus on consumables during a physical inspection. High mileage often accelerates the wear of brake discs and pads, as well as tyre tread depth, even if these were not flagged as defects in January. Checking the service history for oil change intervals is critical here, as the engine has worked harder than average for its age. Inspect the suspension bushes and coil springs for premature fatigue. Although the January 2026 test showed no issues, the high annual mileage increases the likelihood of wear in these areas. A manual check for any signs of fluid leaks or drivetrain noise will confirm if the mechanical condition matches the clean MOT record.
