2015 Peugeot Bipper 1.2L Diesel · OU65 VCX

An exceptionally low usage profile defines this vehicle's recorded history, with only a single advisory noted during its most recent recorded test on 2 November 2018. The lack of subsequent MOT data or failures suggests a vehicle that has spent significant periods stationary or has not been subject to regular testing since that date. While the 2018 record shows a single advisory regarding an offside front tyre worn on the inner edge, the absence of any recorded failures or recurring mechanical issues across the available history indicates a lack of documented structural or systemic component degradation. The recorded mileage of 19,233 miles over an eleven-year period represents an average annual accumulation of approximately 1,748 miles. This extremely low mileage is significantly below the UK national average and indicates infrequent road use. Mechanically, such a usage pattern often means that while high-wear drivetrain components may have low cumulative mileage, other elements such as rubber suspension bushes, seals, and various fluid components may have been subject to degradation through prolonged periods of inactivity rather than mechanical wear. The gap in MOT testing since late 2018 is a critical factor that necessitates a thorough physical inspection to verify current roadworthiness. Prospective buyers should pay specific attention to the tyre condition and alignment, given the previous advisory for inner edge wear on the offside front tyre. During a test drive, it is essential to monitor the steering for any pulling to one side or a wandering sensation, which could indicate persistent wheel alignment issues or worn suspension components like ball joints or tie rod ends. Furthermore, because the vehicle has likely been stationary for extended periods, the braking system requires close scrutiny. Listen for any squealing or grinding from the calipers and feel for any sponginess or unevenness in the brake pedal pressure, which could point to seized calipers or degraded hydraulic integrity. Beyond the tyres and brakes, the low-mileage usage warrants a check for fluid leaks and the condition of all rubber-based components. Inspect the engine bay for signs of oil or coolant weeping from seals that may have dried out due to lack of thermal cycling. Check the underside for any signs of corrosion on the exhaust system or subframe, as long-term stationary vehicles can sometimes accumulate moisture in hard-to-reach areas. On the road, listen for any knocks or clunks when traversing uneven surfaces, which would suggest that the suspension bushings or dampers may have stiffened or perished from disuse.
