2016 Honda CR-V 1.6L Diesel · OW65 GKG

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness, maintaining a consistent history of clean passes over the last five years. The most recent test conducted on 9 December 2025 at 101,724 miles recorded no defects or advisories. This indicates a very stable maintenance trend where the previous owners have proactively addressed mechanical issues before they resulted in MOT failures or persistent advisory warnings typically seen on an SUV of this age. The mileage accumulation is remarkably consistent for a ten-year-old Honda, averaging approximately 10,000 miles per annum. Between December 2021 at 56,311 miles and January 2025 at 92,132 miles, the vehicle covered 35,821 miles, showing a steady usage pattern. The recent jump of 9,592 miles between the January 2025 and December 2025 tests confirms the car remains in regular use, which helps prevent the seal rot and brake corrosion often associated with long periods of standing. While the digital record is exemplary, a buyer should focus their physical inspection on components subject to wear at the 100,000-mile mark. Given the lack of recorded advisories, the suspension bushes and coil springs should be visually checked for signs of perishing as these are common failure points on heavier vehicles. One should also inspect the chassis for early-stage surface corrosion on the sills, as the MOT test only identifies structural integrity issues once rust reaches a significant threshold.
